Testimonials

"This place is great. Yep, it's tiny, but the staff knows their shit
inside and out, as their website says, they really, really do repairs.
The prices for their repair work are much better than the other shops
around as they're not trying to push other merch on you.

I brought my trusty bike in for some much-needed repairs. They quoted me
about a quarter what I was expecting to pay.
Also, the owner and the staff are wonderfully unpretentious, friendly
and real it's really refreshing. I heard about them through coworkers,
totally word of mouth, and can say their great reputation is very
well-deserved."

Hi Tyler,

I was in the shop today with my girlfriend Joy, who was looking at some of the used bikes out front. The first thing she said to me when we left was how much she appreciated that you didn't talk down to her despite her lack of biking experience.

I feel the same way every time I go in, and it's why I always direct my friends towards your shop over the "big" bike stores. Thank you!

Regards,
Kevin

Thanks Tyler for the great job on my bike! Looks and rides great!

Tyler,
Thought I might give you a testimonial after seeing the others on your website. I bought a Schwinn that you had rebuilt back in the Fall of 2003. A few used parts, but good reliable components (Deore hubs, Sun rims, Dia-Compe brakes, and Planet Bike fenders) and a good old road frame for $300. I needed a reliable commuter that wasn't going to fail on me anytime soon. I commuted to work about 11 miles and worked 70-80 hour weeks, so I had no time to take this bike to a shop should something go wrong. The bike performed beautifully. I road that bike for a year with little more than occasional lubricating and cleaning. I put over 3000 miles on that bike just going back and forth to work. I road it through snow, rain, hellish cold and mud all with about 30 to 40 pounds of gear on my back. It finally died one sad day on the way to a friends house in Everett. I was trying to crank really hard to get into traffic and stripped the bottom bracket. I should have given him a better funeral; he deserved better. Unfortunately at the time, my eyes were all stars with a new bike
and needed space. My trusted frame went in the garbage. Oh, it brings a tear to my eye to know he was buried by strangers. But there it is, my Tyler bike, the one that got me to love bicycling.

I am just writing to thank you for doing such a beautiful job on my Team
Fuji Fixed Gear Conversion. You really listened to all of my concerns
and turned that bike into something that is going to bring many years of
riding pleasure. Everyone told me to "take the Fuji in to see Tyler" and
I am so glad I listened. I just wish I had done it sooner! I love my
bike Tyler. Thank-you!

Tyler,
Thanks for your help with our "lights for kids" program. It will make a
big difference to a lot of young cyclists. Your community-centered
approach is your strength - keep up the good work!
