weve all had an awsome fall and hitting into winter….it’s november 26th! awsome riding weather.licky us!  how hard are we going to be hit this winter? i’m nervous , find the shovels , prime the snow blower, find your boots! 1860’s style?  storm of 1978? ( awesome storm) 10′ snow banks ?

Carl. an ol’ mechanic i used to work with.  OH,,,,,NEVER, EVER talk to Carl before noon and his 7 smokes.

his pattern on saturday was not to shave as to keep customers away from him….funny guy when he wanted. very good mechanic……thanks Carl, i learned allot just by payin’ attention to your hands…………

November 4th 2010. it’s raining. i road in, got wet! it’s just started.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   WINTERIZING SPECIAL    $75                                                                                                                                                                  THIS INCLUDES AS FOLLOWS                                                                                                                overhauling both hubs                                                                                                                                                                          true , tension and dish of the wheels ( this could actualy mean re-true,  re-tension , re-dish ( ya’ll be supriz’d how off your wheels can be!)                                                                                                                                                                                   grease seat post , stem when applicable , suspension stanchion’s when applicable                                                                             pull off pedals and re-grease the threads                                                                                                                                                  quick wipe down of frame , wheels and componentry                                                                                                                            any cables that need to be replaced                                                                                                                                                          checking of all the binders, such as the seat , handle bars , stem , cranks , any  suspension pivots or crown bolts                       air into the tires , any air suspension you will have to let me know the proper pressure ( too many to know and no time to find)

there may be extras you would like along with the free, such as new grips or tape , tires , seat ,,,,who knows.

all parts are on the extra monies and must be purchased through the shop

just really pissed at the ##’s of bike related thefts .

the police dont care, they considder the bikes ( to my best understanding ) a toy. there’s no grand theft bicycle!

well damb man , i got ALLOT tied up in “toys” , not to mention tools. family bikes….

talkin to a customer today about this and she mentioned this dude that comes through here every so often and the vibe he puts off is just smarmy. you can feel his dishonesty! trust this though, there are many that come through tryin to pull a fast one on me or the vibe that there scum. this one guy is known up at Tufts too. police dont care. i dont get it. why dont they set up a sting and sit in the bushes . ”’hey john, go sit in the bushes and bust a theif today, here’s your donuts….””
