sand was nice this week. although it felt like i had a head wind up and back. good spot to have lunch and chill. built a little fort of washed up logs and other timber…..kinda wish i had a match & some gas.

woman comes in yesterday and asks about a tune up. throw it up in the stand and do the run through . said it’d be around 50 to 60 clams ( lots of issues out side of the ” tune up” )……she starts talkin bout retiring the pos and talkin bout a road bike….200 at most…..i tell her it’s going to be a poS to ( why not keep this one alive and invest a little at a time)….well she says the shop ( sorry, STORE) on mass ave tunes a bike for 45…………..hmmmm i think….i say good luck and give her the bike back.
now the tune is not a tune to most shops ( oh, sorry did it again,,,store). bottom dolla’ thats what you want? its 45 bucks ….YET ! wadda ya get?
the assumption that all repairs are the same is bull shit/all italin subs are the same/ all muffler repairs are the same/ all bras are the same/all customer service is the same ( go to * mart….go see there service ) that shop on Mass ave,,,uh..? hmmmm, am i gettin through?
well, her bike will get the 15 moments run for 45 and still be as it was, and i could have done her ride in 15 for 20. on the spot for what she will get
